Guadalupe Garcia, 57 of Waukegan Il passed away on April 20, 2022 at Resurrection Hospital Chicago. He was born in Arandas Jalisco, Mexico, the city of Tequila. Guadalupe moved to Lake County around 1982. Guadalupe met his future wife Julia in 1989 and married her in 1992. From this union he had 6 children, Merced Darlene, Miguel Angel, Jesus Giovanny, Guadalupe "Lupita", Jeanette, Yureli. And two grandchildren Arianna, Yarely "Chucky", and one on the way.

Guadalupe's passion was fishing, cooking and gardening. He was Night Custodian at Jefferson Middle School for 7 years and Head Custodian for Lyon Magnet School in Waukegan for 20 years. He loved his work and was held in the best regards by his schools. Illness prevented him from continuing his work and ultimately he retired in 2020.

He joins his son Jesus Giovanny, his dad Jose Garcia, his brother Gerardo, his best friend cousin Jose Trinidad "Trino" in heaven.

Guadalupe will be laid to rest at Panteon Municipal Jardines de La Glorieta in Arandas Jalisco Mexico.
