Luis Zavala, 54 or as many knew him by "El Abuelo" passed away Saturday February 19 due to chronic health conditions. Luis last few days were spent in the hospital along side his family.  Luis was born on December 16, 1967 to Antonio Zavala and Josefa Enriquez in Mexico City D.F., Mexico.

He is survived by his mother, Josefa Enriquez; children, Luis Zavala, Angel Zavala and Alexis Zavala, Wesley Zavala; his beloved grandchildren, Angel Zavala (boy), Jadiel Zavala, Camila Zavala, Zamaralys Zavala and Arianna Zavala; his siblings, Rocio & Javier Zavala.

He was preceded in death by his father, Antonio Zavala; grandparents, Severiano Enriquez, Angelina Velazquez, Antonio Zavala and Rafaela Acosta.

Luis was a man who cared about everyone. It seems as his mission was to make everyone smile, he was someone who was always the life of the party. He woke up everyday and automatically played his favorite tunes. He enjoyed and loved music. He passed this on to his kids as he woke his children with music as well. He always said "if you start off your day with joy you'll have a good rest of the day". He was a dedicated father and did the best he could to make his children happy. Luis will remain in our hearts forever.
