Marsha D Blackwell was born on August 7, 1952 the daughter of Reverend Willie L Blackwell and Luzell Blackwell in Chicago Illinois.

Marsha accepted Christ as her personal savior at an early age. She was a faithful member of living Word Christian Center. She liked visiting churches and singing in the choir.

Marsha graduated from Lincoln Park high school and pursued higher education at the University of Illinois earning a Baccalaureate degree of arts Liberal arts and science. Following her undergraduate she earned a Master of Arts in education at Illinois University, Master of Arts Education and Leadership at Roosevelt University.

Marsha was an inspiring, educator, author, empowerment specialist, blogger and motivational speaker. She worked for 20+ years teaching in various schools in the Chicago public schools as well as several suburban school districts.

We will always remember Marsha for her infectious smile, God-fearing grace and perfect poise always ready to serve God.
